Report from Ground Zero

There is so much to report to you from our Israel mission!

We were at Ground Zero of a Hamas attack on the town of Sderot near the Gaza border, visiting with families who were displaced and fled or were rescued. We saw so much horrific carnage and we felt their pain.

A suicide bomber ran into the police station. It doesn’t exist anymore. Women and children were attacked and murdered by terrorists. Being on the ground is so much different than watching it on a screen.

To get an idea of what the Israelis have experienced, my son, Shiloh, recorded an account from a heroic survivor named Yair. Below are some excerpts:

“I’m 27. I recently moved to the Gaza Strip. I was in my apartment in the kibbutz. We had an alarm … and, after a few minutes, we started hearing gunshots.

“I was in the Army, I was in special forces. I saw some stuff. … But never in my life did I think I would see this magnitude of hell. I buried friends.”

We met with other survivors in the area and were having dinner with some families when one of many rocket attacks occurred. Hamas in the Gaza Strip is firing rockets into Israel nonstop daily.

Children are suffering on both sides of this war. But I can tell you with certainty, if Hamas surrendered or stopped firing rockets, Israel would have no need to defend and protect innocent families.

There is so much misinformation and psychological warfare. Trust me, we are getting eye-witness accounts of the terror — barbaric things that are too terrible to speak of.

But we have great things planned for aiding the innocent children and families, and destroying the manifestation of evil. Our team is tired, but good. Thank you to all our faithful supporters for praying and giving.
