In 2011 large swaths of the Syrian populace began protesting against the Assad’s government. The protests turned violent and they ultimately turned the country into a civil war. Rebels and government forces began infighting and in the chaos factions of extremists began forming a jihadist militia known as ISIS. Along with former ties to Al Qaeda, ISIS origins can be attributed to the lingering affects of maligned sunni-shite relationships from the western occupation of Iraq and former Primer Minister Nouri al-Maliki .
ISIS began spreading rapidly across Syria and Northern Iraq. Their intrusion into Iraq saw the quick collapse of the newly formed Iraqi army and the loss of territories recently held by western forces. They left in their wake a trail of horrid atrocities, death, and a generation of broken children. Over 14 million children have been displaced and affected by the spread of ISIS in the middle east.

HOW WE HELP
HELP & SUPPORT FAMILIES
Victor & ATP Ministries have helped directly support seven Northern Iraqi families, and continues to support more. He helps these families find access to shelter, medicine and other basic needs.
THE THIRD OPTION
“The Third Option” is a program Victor operates in Iraq that helps regional leaders connect to help find solutions to fight ISIS. Because Victor does not represent a specific government, or standard NGO, he has been granted unprecedented access to key influencers.
LION & THE LAMB
The Lion and The Lamb Initiative supports children in the Middle East by giving them a comfort toy animal that is shipped with recorded music and prayers (lions for boys, lambs for girls).
