“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36
He came into our facility on suicide watch. From there he was moved two more times. He landed in a cell all by himself. He woke up with a copy of Victor’ s book on his table. He still doesn’t know how it got there for he was alone. He looked at the back and the pictures of Victor with his leg high in the air. (He also has a karate background.) He says he read it in about 2 hours, and he had never finished a book in his life. The story captivated him, he asked the Lord to take the demons far from him and that the Lord would come close and stay with him.
I met with him after that. He hung on every word. I asked him if he ever gave his life to the Lord and he said, “I don’t know what that means.” After explaining, he said, “Oh I did that after reading the book!” He said he knows he is a new man, he has been smiling even though he is locked up. He has dreams now of helping others when he gets out and asks for prayers for God to use him in any way.
Your story, Victor, has changed another life. Everything you went through was not in vain. The Lord bless you dear friend, Chaplain L.
